Policies
Each chapter will be industry exclusive, allowing only one (1) member per industry in each chapter. If more than one (1) application is received for a specific industry at the same time, the Leadership Team will collect all needed information on each applicant and the Leadership Team will make the final vote.
The chapter members will vote in all new members within 2 weeks of receiving the application. If for any reason there is a “NO” vote the leadership team will make the final vote decision. The Chapter Coordinator will be responsible for checking all new members’ applications and qualifications, if any issues then they are to contact the ING office prior to the vote. The application will be kept in the ING office; however each Coordinator can keep a copy.
Any member that makes any changes to their industry such as a name change, address or phone number, email or social media information, they will need to submit the changes in writing to the ING office so that the updates can be made on all published ING information.
The leadership team will meet each quarter to discuss chapter business. If you would like to submit any thoughts or suggestions on ways to make our chapters grow please feel free to submit your written plans to the ING office before the last Friday of each month.
As a member, if you have any issue with another member you will be advised to submit in writing the grievance, email to Gerry at gerrymathislb@yahoo.com
Your yearly dues are NON-REFUNDABLE.
You must provide a business license or certificate of insurance for your industry. Some exceptions do apply for certain Industries and can be discussed once the application is in review.
A guest can visit 6 times to choose the correct chapter to meet their needs before submitting an application.
Your yearly membership fee is $100.00, a portion of that will go to the charity that your group votes on at the end of the year, the remainder will be used for administration fees and marketing to ensure the growth of your ING Networking Group.
This $100.00 payment can be made by check or cash and can be paid in 2 payments of $50.00 each within 30 days of the date on the application.
We realize that life, work and fun are going to get in the way of your chapter meetings from time to time. Your attendance will be monitored and if you miss more than 2 meetings in a 4 month time frame without any notice given to Gerry a decision can be made to open your position in your chapter and you will be given the opportunity to step aside or join another ING chapter. Keep in mind “if they do not know you they cannot refer to you.”
Substitute, if you are not able to attend your meeting you may have a substitute attend on your behalf. Please make sure he/she can represent you and your industry in a professional manner and can answer questions about your industry.
Leave of Absence, ING can hold your position (notify ING office) in your chapter if you have a medical/personal issue for 1 month (4 meetings). Of course this policy is ALWAYS negotiable per member case.
Our Foundation Meetings will be held on the 4th Monday of each month. All members are required to attend one Foundation meeting during their first 2 months of being a member.
